Orders for in-stock pieces are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days. As everything is packed carefully by hand in my Cheadle studio, dispatch may occasionally take a little longer during particularly busy periods or around shop updates and markets.
Standard UK delivery starts at £4.50 for a single item and increases to £9.00 for orders containing more than one item. Expedited delivery is also available, starting at £9.75 for a single item and £19.50 for multiple items.
You can also choose free collection from my studio in Cheadle, Stockport. Delivery and collection options are shown at checkout.
Yes. I ship Lindy Garner Ceramics internationally. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order and delivery destination. Please note that international orders may be subject to local customs charges, import duties or taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.
Every order is carefully packed to protect your ceramics in transit. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible with photographs of the damaged item and packaging. I’ll arrange a replacement where possible or issue a refund.
I hope you’ll love your ceramics, but if you change your mind, you can return an unused item within 7 days of receiving your order. Items must be returned in their original condition and safely packaged. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or has arrived damaged.
Custom or personalised pieces cannot normally be returned unless they are faulty. For full details, please see my Returns & Exchanges page.
Yes. Every piece of Lindy Garner Ceramics pottery is handmade by me in my home studio in Cheadle, Stockport. Most pieces are individually wheel-thrown in stoneware clay, then carefully finished, glazed and fired in small batches. No two pieces are ever exactly alike.
Yes. My stoneware ceramics are dishwasher and microwave safe. However, as with all handmade pottery, I recommend handwashing where possible to help keep your piece looking its best for years to come.
Because every piece is handmade, there will naturally be small variations in shape, size and glaze. My layered glazes can also develop differently during firing, creating subtle variations in colour, pattern and texture. These individual characteristics are part of what makes handmade ceramics unique.
All Lindy Garner Ceramics pottery is handmade in my home studio in Cheadle, Stockport, Greater Manchester. Each piece is made, glazed and fired here by me in small batches.
Yes. I offer personalised pieces and I’m also happy to discuss other custom pottery requests. As everything is handmade, what I can make will depend on the design, timescale and my current studio workload. Please get in touch with your ideas and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Yes. I offer relaxed, small-group pottery workshops from my home studio in Cheadle, Stockport, Greater Manchester. You can choose from wheel throwing or handbuilding sessions, with workshops designed to be friendly, creative and unhurried. No previous pottery experience is needed.
I offer both wheel throwing and handbuilding workshops. Wheel throwing sessions are available for one or two people and cover preparing the clay, centring, pulling up the walls and shaping your pots. Handbuilding workshops can accommodate up to four people and explore techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building.
Not at all. My workshops are suitable for complete beginners, and I’ll guide you through each stage at a relaxed pace. The emphasis is on enjoying the experience, learning something new and creating something by hand rather than trying to make a perfect pot.
Wheel throwing workshops are available for one or two people, as I have two pottery wheels in the studio. Handbuilding workshops can accommodate up to four people, making them a lovely option for a small group of friends or family.
You’ll leave your finished pieces with me after your workshop. I’ll carefully dry, finish, glaze and fire them for you in my studio. Once everything is ready, I’ll get in touch to arrange collection. The whole process takes a little time, so your finished pottery won’t be ready to take home on the day.
